I finally started working on a trench watch I bought a couple of years ago housing the 13 ligne cal. 870
After pre cleaning inspection I found that unfortunately the detent spring is broken đŸ˜¡ After a few painful restorations I was hoping this one would be a walk in the park đŸ˜

Anybody out there who can help me with a detent spring, part 4525 or a complete movement?

Thanks

Thojil,
I checked, but no parts for caliber 870 in my assortments. Will do a second check in my other spare part drawers, but this might take a day or two.

Oh man.... that is the rarer of the two styles for these movements. I had the one in a movement break too. I used it as a template to make a new one from a piece of carbon steel (nail).

Yeah, tell me about it đŸ˜©

Assuming it was produced by Aegler, was any other watch brand using this movement. That would greatly enhance chances to find a donor.

Checked everything now, but I am sorry, nothing for caliber 870 in my drawers.
