This watch is perfectly wearable but I'd like to kick it up a notch. I'm considering refinishing and I wanted to first ask if anyone has a nice enamel dial. Thanks everyone!

All those figures on the dial should be hard enamel. If you are considering to send it out, you might just try to polish the dial yourself. Place a sunshine cloth on a hard flat surface and then gently go back and forth with the dial, following the lines on the dial already. Go slow, take your time and it should work. When done, wash gently with soap and water.

All I know is based on hard work & writing by others. I can only aspire to augment this body of knowledge. If I am wrong it is because of my own failings. -me

I can confirm that this dial type is tough and that you will have great difficulty damaging the enamel. The cleaning after you're finished is the most important part!

I'd just send it to International. They knock these enamel dials out in no time. It seems like enamel dials go to the front of the line because they're so simple. And I think they have the best looking butler finish.

Thanks to everyone for chiming in on this and I'll prob try cleaning it up myself and then International if that doesn't work. I still wouldn't mind buying a great looking dial.

A bit late to the party, but I always dip the enamel dials in silver cleaning fluid. Depending on the level of dirt accumulated between 10-30 seconds. They come out shining like new.
I have posted in the past many before-after examples including non-enamel dials.

Thanks for the input Thojil! My wife has decided it is just fine and since she is now the primary wearer I'll not be mucking with it.
