Works great! I have not been able to find anything out about this watch. Inside the case there are some clues...two sets of stamped numbers...91 and 6048761. The rest of the info on the case looks to be hand engraved. At the top is MK 11-1 n(I think) then the initials JB. Then D22101....44261P....D14422...D17382....D18811...D20636. On the movement is the following...Seven7 Jewels...Unadjusted...F S Conoruma....Hrspg & Bal.....Guild Watch Switzerland.

If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi, welcome! It looks like a Gruen Strap 277. There's some info here.

http://vintagegruen.org/vgforum/index.php?t=msg&goto=104 76&&srch=277#msg_10476.

It should be a Calibre 700. You can learn a little about it & its related calibre's here.

I'm a fan of this model. There was one on eBay not that long ago and I meant to make a play for it, but forgot.

Curious there are no material markings. I’m assuming it would be nickel, fitting the 6mm case number?

My two caveats:
1) I'm wrong many times a day --just ask my wife!
2) Always seeking to learn more

These are interesting cases I agree. It should be stainless steel. All my flared /stepped cases that are Guildite are marked the same way.

It probably has a Guildite marking the edge of the outer case back.
