Hello All-

I am trying to restore a Gruen Chrono Timer (cal 450) and need just 1 more part-

a hammer return spring--it's at the 2 o'clock position

I'd certainly appreciate a hand; i'll buy a parts movement if necessary; I'd like to breath a new

Actually I tried to make the spring located at 7 o'clock but found that I given the length I could not get the tensile just right for correct hammer
operation-too strong button was over powered, to weak and return was partial-wound up finding one. I suspect there will be a tensile issue
on this one as well. For me proper running of chronographs always seems to be a matter of spring pressures and eccentric screw positions.

Still hoping to find one!
