Not really a sales post, but wanting to point out things of interest that are forsale... The eBay seller casinopawn has a number of Gruen and Columbus Watch Co items that were acquired from Art Bissel. Art is selling off his collection or has sold off a good chunk. The ebay seller has bought a good quantity of stuff from him.

If you are interested in his 50th Anniversary watches, or some of the other 14k cased Gruen watches he has not sold, feel free to PM me if you want his contact information.

Art has some amazing stuff. But 100% pocket watches, if I'm not mistaken.

At this point yes, all he has are pocket watches with the exception of a Lemania 3-dial chronograph from the 1940s.

I just hope that the movements casinopawn is selling were acquired as movements, not complete watches...

Of the movements I recognize from Art’s posts on the NAWCC forum, none so far have been uncased by the current seller. Art would get loose movements and have them cased by Bill Tapp.
