Anyone know the model name, approximate date for this watch?

Case style #273, Size 40mm lug to lug by 20mm wide excl. crown w/ 311 movement, 14K GF.

The model ref# 273 is the Gruen Curvex Regent from 1937. In 1937 it sold for $50. I found it in a few ads from 1937 but, the 1938 adverts no longer mentioned the Regent. The Regent housed the 311 movement. It was the last model to have the first Gen 311s. It is a cool watch. Hope this helps, Kyle

Mike B's Gruen Vol 1 shows the 1937 Regent on page 18. 17j Precision movement, 14k YGF case.
