The integrated detent lever/spring on my watch broke. Crying or Very Sad

index.php?t=getfile&id=1874&private=0

Anyone got a suggestion on where to get a replacement? I've got another complete 870 but it has the other style of setting bits.

I have an 870 in my pocket watch but no spare parts. There is a detent lever/spring for the 870B on the Otto Frei site for sale. Not sure if its a match for your broken one though.

Still here....

Is that your Out O' Doors/Paris Square you love to wear? I have balance staffs but no springs. We'll... I love wearing mine too and figure the balance staff will be the first to go.

Yes, Gary that is the one.

Mikey, I'll check out OF. Mine is the 'A' model however. Thanks.

I guess as amateur watch making goes we could try making one from scratch. That would surely top a balance replacement as far as difficulty goes. Else jimmy an extinction piece to the existing with a weld.

I'll keep looking here as well.

Can you narrow down the picture to just the broken part? Perhaps an unbroken picture of the part? I may have it. Is it the "setting Spring"?

Mike - I believe Jack is needing part 4525 detent spring from the 1921 standardized part list for the 870.
