Hello Gruen wristwatch enthusiasts

I just wanted you all to know that Michael Barnett has acquired the rights to my former book, Gruen Wristwatches: A Collector's Guide. I thought that some type of announcement was in order, in case any of you were wondering why it has disappeared from my website, and is no longer available on Amazon.com. The book is now officially out of print. The sale of the book to Michael was the culmination of several months of negotiating, which began when Michael approached me and asked how we might work together to make an improved version of the book. In the end, I decided that Michael was the best choice to carry on this project, so that I may pursue other writing interests. I thank you all for your support of the book during its "run" for the past two years under my authorship. I hope you all will join me in wishing Michael success as he takes over the reigns and adds his considerable knowledge and resources to the book.

Sincerely,

Bruce Shawkey
